As an Intern, you will expand your scientific skills, gain experience using state-of-the-art equipment and gain insight into the drug development process.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Investigate the degradation and erosion behavior of excipients used in injectable formulations.
- Develop experimental protocols (SOPs) for in vitro conditions and analytical validation reports
- Evaluate how excipient grade, drug loading, and sterilization methods impact degradation and erosion behavior.
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review and provide an annotated summary of mechanisms and regulatory considerations.
- Plan to conduct laboratory work and document technical data with experimental results.
- Presentation of results to project teams and to the management
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
- Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
- Major or minor in related field of internship
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
- Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
- Searching for a candidate in Pharmaceutics, Polymer Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, etc.
- Hands on experience of polymer chemistry, formulation development.
- Hands on experience of dissolution methods, like United States Pharmacopeia apparatus.
- Written and oral communication skills with publication and presentation records.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and project management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
