Technician II, Filling

The basic purpose of this role is to perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of vaccines. The Technician II, Filling Athens works within the filling department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs filling and support production activities.
• Operates relevant department equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements.
• Ensures all equipment and facilities are maintained.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Completes all associated documentation in compliance with requirements.
• Demonstrates sound aseptic technique.
• Performs inventory transactions.
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators to strive for improved performance.
• Communicates process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor.
• Escalates events and concerns to supervisor.
• Demonstrates a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the company Values in all work-related activities.
• In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope.
• Shift: Rotating 2,3,2 5:45AM - 6:15PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years relevant experience.
• OR
B.S. degree plus one (1) year relevant experience.

Preferred :

• High school diploma plus three (3) years relevant experience.
• B.S. Biology or related field plus two (2) years relevant experience.
• Experience in Pharma/Bio cGMP.
• Basic computer skills - Excel, Word.
• Demonstrated team player.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
Basic mechanical skills and experience operating automated equipment.

Eligibility Requirements :

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
