Join the Boehlke Bottled Gas Team as a Cylinder Delivery Driver…the best combination of an independent and teamwork job. Don’t be tied to office or factory work. You’ll have a regular 7:30-4 schedule which includes reviewing routes and delivery schedules, loading propane tanks, exchanging empty propane tanks with full ones and tracking customer needs and changes.
Your route will include businesses and homes and will rotate each month. Safety and service are our biggest concern and we’ll work with you to gain your CDL license and Hazardous Material Endorsements if you don’t have them.
The successful Propane Cylinder Delivery Driver will operate the equipment safely, communicate with customers and other employees in order to provide safe and professional customer service. Duties include:

- Deliver propane cylinders to businesses and homes
- Safely operate delivery truck in all conditions and traffic
- Complete daily paperwork and use tablet to manage route and deliveries
- Communicate with customers and team to provide professional customer service
- Identify potentially unsafe tanks and/or conditions.
- Repair, recertify, fill cylinders as needed
- Load and unload trucks daily
- Inspect truck and equipment, notifying management if a repair is needed
- Keep truck and work area clean and neat
- Participate in Monthly Team Safety Meetings
- Earn and maintain necessary driving requirements and licenses
- Utilize automated scheduling and routing – delivery tablet and training provided
- Be able to meet necessary lifting requirements (55lb cylinders throughout the day)
- Pass Pre employment physical and initial and random drug screening
