Pay: $12.00 per hour
Job Description:
Bodyworks Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician/Office Assistant. This is a GREAT job opportunity for a college student looking to go into Physical Therapy as a career. Shifts are primarily offered in 4 ½ or 8-hour increments but we will work around your specific class schedule. At this current time, we are offering morning and afternoon shifts, but we can be flexible and are willing to work around your schedule!
Duties to Include:
- Taking patients back to an exam room when they arrive for their appointment
- Cleaning exam rooms in-between patients
- General Cleaning around the Clinic including, but not limited to, Lobby, Kitchen, Bathrooms, Gym, Offices
- Laundry
- Empty Garbage
- Set up/take down for monthly Staff Meetings
- Inventory of Store Front Items
- Filing
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
- Occasionally help cover at the front desk by answering phones/taking messages/scheduling during Staff Meetings or in the event that we are short-staffed (additional training to be included when/if necessary)

Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Punctual
- Must be a team player, energetic, and possess excellent patient relation skills
- Possess good communication skills with staff and help to find coverage if you are going to miss a shift
- The employee will be required to stand/walk for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is helpful but not required
