About BodyTime

BodyTime is building a new model of proactive, clinician-led health optimization. We combine advanced diagnostics, longitudinal clinical care, behavior change support, and a highly personalized member experience to help people better understand and improve their health over time.

We are looking for an Austin-based Community Marketing & Events Manager to help grow BodyTime’s local presence through events, partnerships, social media, and grassroots community engagement.

This is a hands-on marketing and community role for someone who is energized by building relationships, creating memorable in-person experiences, and translating local momentum into measurable growth.

About the Role

The Community Marketing & Events Manager will own BodyTime’s local community marketing efforts in Austin. This person will plan and execute events, build partnerships with aligned local organizations, support social media and content creation for events, and help turn community engagement into prospective member interest.

This role is remote in the sense that BodyTime does not currently have a physical office, but the person must be based in Austin and actively connected to the local health, wellness, fitness, longevity, and/or endurance community.

The ideal candidate has experience in marketing, events, partnerships, or community building, with a bias toward action and strong follow-through.

What You’ll Do

Community Marketing & Local Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships across Austin’s health, wellness, fitness, and local business communities
  • Identify opportunities for BodyTime to show up in the right places, with the right audiences
  • Help grow awareness, trust, and engagement for the BodyTime brand locally
  • Develop grassroots initiatives that introduce BodyTime to prospective members
  • Track and manage community contacts, event leads, partner opportunities, and follow-up

Events & Activations

  • Plan and execute recurring BodyTime events, pop-ups, educational sessions, wellness activations, and partner events
  • Own event logistics from concept through execution, including venue coordination, partner communication, promotion, staffing, materials, and follow-up
  • Design events with clear goals, target audiences, and next steps for attendees
  • Capture attendee information and coordinate follow-up to support prospective member conversion
  • Evaluate event performance and recommend improvements over time

Partnerships

  • Identify and build relationships with aligned Austin partners, including run clubs, gyms, fitness studios, wellness practitioners, recovery centers, health-focused communities, and local brands
  • Develop repeatable partnership concepts, co-hosted events, referral pathways, and collaborative marketing opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing partner relationships and ensure follow-through on shared initiatives
  • Look for partnerships that can drive both brand awareness and prospective member interest

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the CXO on brand, experience, messaging, and community strategy
  • Partner with the clinical team on event programming, educational content, and member-facing topics
  • Coordinate with the COO/CEO on high-priority community, partnership, or growth opportunities
  • Ensure community and marketing activity connects back to company growth goals

Social Media & Content Support

  • Support BodyTime’s social media presence, especially around local events, partnerships, member education, and community storytelling
  • Create, coordinate, or capture content from events, activations, and local partnerships
  • Help translate BodyTime’s clinical and educational perspective into approachable, engaging content
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure messaging is consistent with the BodyTime brand
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility through local creators, influencers, community leaders, and partner channels

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means BodyTime becomes more visible, trusted, and connected within the Austin health and wellness community.

This role should help create:

  • Consistent local events and activations
  • Strong relationships with relevant Austin partners and community leaders
  • Increased brand awareness and engagement
  • A growing pipeline of prospective members
  • Better content and storytelling from BodyTime’s local presence
  • Clear tracking of leads, follow-up, and conversion opportunities from community activity

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, events, partnerships, social media, community building, or a related role
  • Strong preference for experience with events, brand/community marketing, content creation, or social media marketing
  • Austin-based, with existing familiarity or connections in local health, wellness, fitness, endurance, longevity, or lifestyle communities
  • Comfortable planning and executing events independently
  • Strong relationship-builder who enjoys networking, outreach, and in-person community engagement
  • Highly organized and able to manage details, timelines, vendors, partners, and follow-up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
  • Able to balance brand-building activities with measurable growth outcomes

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working with gyms, run clubs, wellness brands, healthcare companies, fitness studios, or consumer health startups
  • Existing relationships in the Austin wellness, fitness, creator, or entrepreneurial community
  • Experience managing or contributing to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, newsletters, or other marketing channels
  • Basic comfort with tools such as Canva, Notion, HubSpot, Airtable, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
  • Interest in preventive health, longevity, performance, fitness, or health optimization
