BodyHealth is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the company’s integrated marketing function and drive alignment across all consumer-facing channels. This role will have direct responsibility for the performance, growth, and optimization of BodyHealth’s ecommerce channels—including DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and TikTok Shop—while overseeing the brand, creative, partnerships, and communications functions that support the broader business.


Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will work closely with channel leaders and serve as the central force connecting brand strategy, creative execution, and revenue performance across digital commerce. This leader will be accountable for ensuring all marketing efforts are cohesive, data-informed, and aligned to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and lifetime value across owned and marketplace channels.


The CMO will partner cross-functionally with the Wholesale leaders, who own wholesale and B2B distribution channels (including grocery, healthcare practitioners, sports performance, government, and international wholesale). Together, these leaders will ensure a unified go-to-market strategy, with the CMO focused on building demand and brand strength across digital channels and the wholesale leavers driving wholesale expansion and account growth.


The ideal candidate is a modern marketing leader with strong brand instincts, deep experience across DTC and marketplace ecosystems, and a proven ability to operate in a decentralized, channel-driven organization—balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution to scale both revenue and brand equity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the performance and growth of all ecommerce channels, including DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and TikTok Shop, with accountability for revenue, efficiency, and customer lifetime value.
  • Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy that aligns brand, creative, partnerships, and channel execution into cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
  • Oversee Creative Studio, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and performance-driven creative output across all channels and initiatives.
  • Lead Partnerships, PR, and Communications, driving brand visibility, credibility, and influence through strategic relationships, media, and cultural moments.
  • Drive cross-channel alignment and campaign orchestration, ensuring DTC, Amazon, TikTok, and Wholesale-support efforts are coordinated and mutually reinforcing.
  • Partner closely with the Wholesale Channels to support sell-in and sell-through efforts through trade marketing, brand storytelling, and market credibility.
  • Establish and scale data-driven marketing practices, leveraging insights to optimize customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and overall marketing ROI.
  • Build and lead high-performing marketing teams, fostering clear ownership, accountability, and collaboration across channel leaders and shared services functions.
  • Own the marketing planning and budgeting process, ensuring effective allocation of resources across channels, campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, shaping overall growth strategy, identifying new channel opportunities, and ensuring the brand remains competitive and differentiated in the market.


Qualifications:

  • 15 years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong track record in DTC, ecommerce, and high-growth consumer brands (supplements, wellness, beauty, or adjacent categories preferred).
  • Proven success owning and scaling ecommerce channels (DTC, Amazon, and/or emerging platforms like TikTok Shop), with direct accountability for revenue, CAC efficiency, and LTV growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead integrated marketing functions, including creative, brand, partnerships, communications, and performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of channel-specific operating models, with the ability to balance autonomy of channel leaders while driving alignment and consistency across the business.
  • Experience building and optimizing high-performance marketing organizations, with clear ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep data-driven mindset, with fluency in marketing analytics, attribution, and performance metrics to inform strategy and investment decisions.
  • Proven ability to operate as a player-coach, comfortable moving between high-level strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside wholesale leaders to support wholesale growth.
  • Exceptional brand instincts and creative judgment, with a track record of building differentiated, credible brands that resonate with consumers and partners.
  • Executive presence and leadership capability, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO.


Success Metrics:

  • Ecommerce revenue growth: Consistent year-over-year growth across DTC, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, with clear contribution from marketing initiatives.
  • Customer acquisition efficiency: Improvement in CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin across paid channels while maintaining growth targets.
  • Customer lifetime value (LTV): Measurable increases in repeat purchase rate, subscription adoption, and overall customer retention within DTC.
  • Creative and campaign effectiveness: Increased performance of marketing campaigns (conversion rates, engagement, and revenue impact) driven by high-quality, aligned creative output.
  • Brand visibility and authority: Growth in high-quality earned media, influencer partnerships, and overall brand presence that supports both DTC demand and wholesale credibility.
  • Cross-channel alignment and execution: Successful delivery of integrated campaigns across DTC, Amazon, TikTok, and wholesale-support efforts, with improved speed to market and reduced internal friction.
