Summary: Based in Hebron, KY, the Commercial Analyst has the responsibility for preparing quotations for the division’s plants. The position works closely with commercial management, sales, customer service, operations management, and others as needed to prepare quotations that are accurate, professional, and meet customer expectations.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited t,o the following.
- Review all Sales Force submittals for Surface Tech quotations, ensuring all information has been provided.
- Build skeletal RFQs for all Surface Tech quotations within 48-72 hours of receiving the RFQ.
- Maintain all submitted information to ensure quotations are as accurate as possible.
- Develop and distribute reports as determined by the Commercial Manager.
- Assist with quote revisions as assigned by the Commercial Manager.
- Process existing production work to evaluate standard efficiency.
- Using a standardized operating system (Epicor) to make corrections to existing BOM details through process review.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, and understand and follow rules and procedures.
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident cardholders.
- 4-year college degree and or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of quoting experience.
- Must be capable of interpreting blueprints and specifications.
- Demonstrate the ability for attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication for interfacing with top management levels, various plant personnel, and the sales team.
- Requires computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office programs. Epicor program experience preferred.
- Must possess a high degree of understanding of basic math and algebraic functions.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
