About the role
Body Wisdom is a COMTA-accredited massage therapy school with a busy student spa, and we're looking for someone to own our front desk.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be at the desk for most of your hours — phones, scheduling, check-ins, walk-ins, payments, and taking care of students and spa clients. But you're not just covering shifts. You'll build the front desk schedule, set the standards, train the team, and be the person who makes sure the desk actually runs well. When something at the front of the house isn't working, you're the one who fixes it.

What you'll do
- Work the front desk as our primary daily presence — phones, scheduling, check-in/check-out, payments, and daily reconciliation
- Build and own the front desk staffing schedule
- Supervise and train front desk staff, and hold the team to a consistent standard
- Run the student spa administratively — booking, rebooking, cancellations, waitlists, and room assignments
- Coordinate with instructors so clinic scheduling works for students
- Document and improve how the front desk operates
What we're looking for
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. This matters more than anything else on this list.
- Someone comfortable taking ownership and making decisions without being managed
- Experience supervising, scheduling, or leading a front-of-house team
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Zenoti, Mindbody, Booker, or similar strongly preferred
- Warm, professional communication — you're the first impression of Body Wisdom
- Comfort with money handling and daily accuracy
- Massage or spa experience isn't required. An active LMT license is a strong plus.
Schedule — please read before applying
Full-time, 40 hours/week. This is not a 9-to-5. The schedule includes two evening shifts and one weekend day every week. Please only apply if that genuinely works for your life.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
