Job Summary
Body Techniques is currently the exclusive vendor for the Google massage program. We are looking to hire two individuals for hybrid positions to support our Sunnyvale and Mountain View campuses. This is a part time employee position which will include 2-3 days a week of massage work and additional administrative time supporting our supplies process. Massage Therapist Overview
We are seeking a certified Massage Therapist to work as an Employee for Body Techniques on assignment at our Google location in Mountain View & Sunnyvale. The goal of Google’s massage program is to recharge and empower Googlers’ bodies and minds. We are looking for some excellent massage therapists to help us fulfill Google’s goal.
Supply Runner Overview
The role of the Supply Runner is to support the Google Site Manager (GSM) in monitoring and responding to the day-to-day tasks and basic communications relating to supply and inventory needs in assigned locations or teams. The term “supply/supplies” covers all necessary items ordered through Body Techniques (BT) required to provide wellness services at Google sites.
Responsibilities and Duties
Massage Therapist
- Provide Google employees with thorough and knowledgeable massage treatments
- Must interact professionally with sensitivity to the needs of the Googlers
- Design specific sessions based on individual needs
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of the facilities and supplies provided
- Maintain professional appearance
- Reliable and adheres to agreed upon schedule
- Highly responsive to emails and communications
- Self reliant and able to problem solve in the moment
Supply Runner
- Ensures rooms have, at all times, the appropriate par level of supplies.
- Takes inventory and cycle counts of supplies as scheduled and/or directed.
- Able to find and share efficient processes in daily and assigned work.
- Assists in the massage “fit up” process, as assigned.
- Conducts room audits as assigned/scheduled.
- Conduct cycle counts and reports findings to GSM as assigned/scheduled.
- Delivers supplies to assigned rooms.
- Uses tools, such as Google forms & trackers to report inventory
Requirements
Massage Therapist
- Must hold and maintain required license in accordance with California state law
- Independently insured
- Three years of massage experience
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Past corporate experience is a plus
- Chiropractic and/or spa experience is also a plus
- Experience with table and chair massage preferred
- Technologically savvy and capable of resolving basic tech issues on one's own
- Google video call and chat
- Respond to emails in a timely manner
- Navigate Google appointment booking system
- Navigate Body Techniques app, close out jobs, approve invoices
Supply Runner
- Must have reliable transportation with enough room to transport supply inventory.
- Must have valid driver's license and car insurance.
- Able to safely lift 25 pounds, repeatedly.
- Able to safely and repeatedly bend, stand, walk long distances, carry, and lift items throughout one’s shift.
- Ability to navigate large Google campuses with ease.
