Our professionals are independent business owners with 24/7 studio access. We partner with highly reliable cleaning and facilities personnel to keep the environment clean, organized, and welcoming for everyone who works in the facility.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Cleaning & Facilities Attendant to support daily operations at Body Spa. The position will begin as a short-term 1099 Independent Contractor role (approximately 1–2 months) while training, workflow familiarity, and reliability are established.After this period, and upon successful performance, the role is intended to convert to W-2 employment due to the routine, ongoing nature of the responsibilities and the performance standards we expect.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Facility CareMaintain towel rotation: wash, dry, fold, and restock consistently.Monitor essential supplies (soap, paper products, trash liners, etc.) and report low inventory before shortages occur.Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility while minimizing disruption to professionals working with clients.Core Cleaning TasksSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.Clean restrooms, waiting areas, shampoo bowls, pedicure bowls, and other shared spaces.Perform routine dusting of décor, vents, shelves, and furniture.Spot-clean mirrors, windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces.Use appropriate tools (e.g., magic erasers) to remove marks from walls as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesOpening/closing duties depending on workflow preference and schedule.Empty and clean hair vacuums, filters, and similar equipment.Maintain organization in storage rooms, laundry spaces, and supply cabinets.Keep display areas tidy (pamphlets, business cards, etc.).Provide light facilities support such as breaking down boxes, small organizational tasks, refilling water in sinks/flowers, and simple touch-ups.Promptly communicate facility issues, maintenance needs, or supply shortages.Work Timing & ExpectationsFlexible scheduling — hours may be chosen by the worker as long as the facility is clean and fully stocked before peak business hours.Must remain reachable by phone during chosen service hours for timely coordination.Typical service days: Monday–Saturday.Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (primarily laundry).QualificationsExperience in janitorial, hospitality, or salon cleaning preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and personal organization.Ability to manage workflow independently and consistently.Compensation & TermsBi-weekly payments for services during the contractor period.Initial 1099 status: Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and equipment unless otherwise specified.A brief phone interview and on-site walk-through are required before contracting.W-9 required for the contractor period; onboarding documentation required upon conversion to W-2 employment.A Spanish version of this description is available upon request.LocationNewport Beach, CA 92663 — On-site role
