What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pilates Instructor position at Body of Santa Fe?
Pilates Instructor, BODY of Santa Fe
BODY has been Santa Fe's home for wellness since 2003: an 11,000 sq ft Wellness Center with a day spa, a studio for yoga, fitness, and Nia classes, a sustainable-living boutique, childcare, and a plant based cafe. Our beautiful Pilates studio has just 6 Reformers, so every class feels semi-private.
We're looking for a Reformer Pilates instructor with a strong foundation, who wants to join a team of highly qualified, experienced teachers.
Our classes are built on thoughtful movement, precise cueing, alignment, and breath. We want students to leave feeling more connected to their bodies, not more tired.
Requirements:
- Hold a comprehensive Pilates certification (BASI, STOTT, Balanced Body, Peak, etc.)
- Have 2 years teaching Reformer
- Know anatomy and can confidently modify for injuries, limitations, and different levels
- Ability to offer technically precise, high-quality movement
- Bring warmth, professionalism, and curiosity to the class experience
- Experience with diverse bodies and injuries; specializations like pre/postnatal or rehab.
Offer:
Competitive pay, flexible schedule, spa and boutique discounts, and unlimited yoga and Nia classes.
To apply:
Send your resume and a brief introduction. Finalists will be asked for 2–3 references familiar with their Pilates teaching.
BODY of Santa Fe is an equal opportunity employer.
