What You'll Do
- Develop new commercial insurance accounts through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Analyze clients' insurance needs, identify exposures, asses total risk and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
- Build partnerships and rapport with agency appointed carriers.
- Meet and exceed new business production goals.
What We're Looking For
- Prior sales experience.
- Previous commercial insurance sales experience preferred.
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain quickly).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to generate your own pipeline and close new business.
- Strong business development mindset with the understanding of the activity needed to drive new business.
