Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile and provide attentive, friendly service from arrival to departure
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and guest satisfaction
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and expediters to ensure timely delivery of orders, acting as the link between the front of house and kitchen team
• Assist with seating arrangements, reservations, and managing waitlists to optimize guest flow and seating efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and host/hostess stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle guest inquiries professionally via phone etiquette or in person, addressing concerns promptly to enhance guest relations
• Support the team during busy hours by performing hosting duties or assisting with table clearing and resetting as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables or tasks simultaneously
• Hospitality experience including guest relations, serving, or hotel background is advantageous
• Ability to maintain professionalism with guests via phone etiquette or in person at all times
• Prior experience working with restaurant management tools like POS systems enhances efficiency but is not mandatory

Pay: $11.41 - $15.00 per hour
