We are seeking a Project Safety Supervisor to join our growing team. This position reports to our Price, Utah office and supports projects throughout the western United States. While candidates throughout the region will be considered, we are ideally seeking someone located in Northern Utah, Southern Idaho, or Southwest Wyoming, including the Ogden, Brigham City, Twin Falls, and Rock Springs areas. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and committed to promoting a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety regulations.
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures.
- Serve as the safety liaison between BODEC, owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements.
- Organize and lead toolbox talks and project safety meetings.
- Develop and communicate emergency response procedures.
- Maintain employee safety records and compliance documentation.
- Manage DISA, FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse records, DOT filings, permits, and related reporting.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and safety training programs.
- Maintain safety compliance platforms and Procore training records.
- Support project supervisors with safety planning and field inspections.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of construction safety experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and hazard control practices.
- Ability to travel up to 100% as project demands require.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to Northern Utah, Southern Idaho, or Southwest Wyoming.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Experience supporting electrical, industrial, utility, transmission, or substation construction projects.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- OSHA 500 certification.
- Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) or Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, MSHA Part 46, or MSHA Part 48 certifications.
- Experience with Procore and safety compliance platforms.
- Experience conducting safety investigations and root cause analysis.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk uneven terrain and access active construction sites.
- Ability to climb ladders and work around moving equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and safely perform duties in industrial and construction environments.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
