The Driver Helper assists the delivery driver with transporting, loading, and unloading event equipment and supplies to and from event locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Help transport event supplies, furniture, and equipment
- Ensure items are handled safely and securely
- Support setup and breakdown at event locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate with drivers and event staff
- Previous delivery or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Schedule: Flexible; includes weekdays and weekends
- Shift Length: 6-10 hours depending on routes/events
- Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
