What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Bocar?
Responsible for coordinating and leading customer engagement during the early stages of product development to secure strategic projects for the company. Oversees product design within Full Service Supplier (FSS) projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage human, financial, and material resources assigned to the CAE Simulation (Computer Assisted Engineering: virtual simulation applying critical conditions during product operation to determine its resistance to loads, fatigue, thermal cycles, etc.), Advanced Development, and Testing Laboratory areas to guarantee the expected performance of each area.
- Generate, modify, and align procedures for the Advanced Development, CAE Simulation, and Testing Laboratory areas to carry out activities in accordance with the IATF 16949 quality standard.
- Define priorities in the CAE Simulation, Advanced Development, and Testing Laboratory areas based on information received from external and internal customers to make deliveries according to the established plan.
- Define and control the annual budget assigned to the CAE Simulation, Advanced Development, and Testing Laboratory areas to achieve efficient use of resources.
- Propose, review, and approve design concepts in the advanced development stage to present to customers.
