Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our fun and friendly team here at Boca Royale Golf and Country Club. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will help maintain a well-kept environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, landscaping duties, and equipment repairs. Duties
- Conduct various maintenance operations and be willing to learn new processes as needed. Perfect candidates will have a willingness to learn in a safe and friendly environment from an experienced staff.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery safely and efficiently for construction or landscaping projects.
- Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- HVAC experience is a major plus, as well as experience with electrical systems, plumbing, paint and drywall repair, along with the ability to learn specialized skills needed to be fulfilled in our club atmosphere.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or landscaping roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with hand tool and basic power tools. Preferred to own your own basic hand tools as well as a moderate cordless tool setup. Only basic hand tools are required at the start of employment.
- Ability to perform construction-related tasks with precision and safety awareness.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions (we are in Florida after all!) while maintaining attention to detail. Join us if you're ready to bring energy and expertise to a role that keeps our facilities safe, beautiful, and functional!
- Ability to move around from department to department as needed depending on the needs of the club and the willingness to jump in and assist other employees as needed.
