Role Description The Girls Varsity Cheer Head Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. The coach leads all aspects of the girls varsity cheer program, including planning and running practices, designing routines, overseeing game-day performances, and coordinating participation in school events and competitions. Daily responsibilities include teaching safe and progressive skills in cheerleading, gymnastics, and tumbling; providing constructive feedback; and promoting physical conditioning and injury prevention. The coach is expected to mentor student-athletes, foster a positive and inclusive team culture, communicate regularly with families and school staff, and ensure alignment with the school’s Christian mission and athletic standards. Additional duties may include managing equipment, scheduling, tryouts, and compliance with school and league policies.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Cheerleading skills and experience leading varsity-level teams or comparable programs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Gymnastics and Tumbling, with a focus on safety, proper technique, and progressive skill development.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear instruction, positive feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and staff.
- Candidates should possess proven Coaching skills, including leadership, team-building, and the ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.
- Relevant coaching certifications, CPR/First Aid training, and knowledge of safety protocols are beneficial.
- Previous experience coaching at the high school level and familiarity with Florida high school athletics regulations are preferred.
- Ability to model Christian values, support the school’s faith-based mission, and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.
