Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food orders swiftly from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils, maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety protocols.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or transactions accurately when required.
- Support banquet or special event setups by providing timely dishware and assisting with cleanup efforts.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros can be advantageous but training will be provided.
- Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle large-scale events efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for collaborating with team members and providing excellent guest services.
