Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist dentists during restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, and other dental procedures.
- Take digital radiographs and other diagnostic records while following all safety protocols.
- Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix and other digital systems.
- Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
- Maintain infection control and sterilization standards according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Assist with digital scanning, treatment presentations, and patient education.
- Collaborate with the entire team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service.
- Help maintain inventory and organization of clinical areas.
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred.
- Radiology certification required.
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
