Company Overview
Construction is one of the largest industries in the world, but it is also one of the least technologically innovative spaces. Conducting fast and accurate cost estimates is a massive pain point because of the tedious nature of takeoffs (measuring & counting materials needed from the drawings). Bobyard automates the construction takeoff process with CV and NLP models to make cost estimates 10x faster while eliminating mistakes.
We are a lean startup backed by some of the best VCs in the world: Primary and Pear. Almost all of the work lies ahead of us. We are excited to create next-gen software for the built world!
Position Overview
Bobyard’s growing uncomfortably fast. Are aiming to double team size by the end of this year (a dozen or two hires!). Your responsibility is to bring in world class talent across all types of roles, unreasonably fast. You'll work directly with the founder & CEO to do whatever it takes to win.
- Manage the recruiting process (source, screen, and interview candidates)
- Hire all roles: fullstack, computer vision, ops, sales. cs, etc
- Develop and promote our employer brand
Desired Attributes
- We will hire lots of engineers and the problems we solve are non-trivial, we expect you to be technical enough to conduct technical rounds!
- Passion and work ethic: Startups are not easy, this is not a cushy job at Google
- Organized: you will have to make lots of hires, super quickly, and still maintain extreme quality
