What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Intern position at Bobolink Management?
Company Description
Bobolink is a modern creative management agency that represents talent and brands across sports, entertainment, hospitality, and consumer culture. Bobolink employs a strategic and hands-on approach to elevate its clients. Specializing in PR, social media, brand partnerships, event management, and comprehensive calendar support, Bobolink helps clients achieve impactful results. The agency is dedicated to developing compelling narratives, enhancing visibility, and delivering precise execution for individual and brand initiatives alike.
About the Role
Bobolink is looking for a sharp, slightly weird (in the best way) PR & Communications Intern to support day-to-day media and outreach efforts across a mix of sports, entertainment, lifestyle and brand clients.
This is a remote-first role with occasional in-person working sessions, events, or brainstorms when it makes sense. You’ll help with the nuts-and-bolts of PR and bring your own cultural brain to the table: the brands you love, the creators you’re obsessed with, and the corners of the internet you live in.
What You’ll Do
Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track client and industry coverage across print, digital, broadcast, podcasts, and social
- Pull and organize press clips into simple recaps and reports
Research, Lists & Prospecting
- Build and maintain targeted media and influencer lists
- Research reporters, outlets, brands, events, and talent relevant to our clients
- Support cold outreach and intro emails to potential partners and prospects
Pitching & Outreach
- Draft media pitches and follow-ups (with guidance and templates)
- Help test different approaches in outreach: subject lines, angles, hooks
- Assist with pitching our services and products to potential clients/collaborators
Account Support & Organization
- Take clean call notes, capture action items, and summarize next steps
- Help prep meeting agendas and occasional light decks/one-pagers
- Keep tracking docs and calendars tight and up to date
Creative & Culture Brain
- Join brainstorms for campaigns, stunts, pitches, and partnerships
- Share what you’re seeing in the wild:
- the TikToks you can’t stop watching
- the brands doing something smart
- the weird trend you spotted before anyone else
- Offer POVs on talent, creators, and brands you think we should know about or work with
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writer, especially in email / pitch / deck copy
- Detail-oriented and organized (you actually like a clean doc or spreadsheet)
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time
- Curious about sports, entertainment, lifestyle, internet culture, or all of the above
- Not afraid to have a take or pitch a weird idea in a brainstorm
- Bonus: familiarity with PR tools, Google Workspace, media databases, or PowerPoint/Canva/Slides
Details
- Part-time internship; approx. [12–15] hours per week
- Remote, with occasional in-person meetings/events where appropriate
- Start date: January 2026
- Compensation: Student/University Credit
