General Laborer / Grounds Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Oakley Enterprises is a growing equipment dealership and real estate ownership company seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support our daily operations. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance of our equipment inventory, dealership property, and real estate holdings. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping equipment and grounds clean, organized, and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Cleaning, Yard Maintenance & Basic Equipment Care

· Wash, clean, and detail heavy equipment, tractors, attachments, and other inventory.

· Remove dirt, grease, and debris from equipment prior to display, sale, or delivery.

· Assist with organizing equipment on the sales lot and storage areas.

· Perform basic inspections and report any visible damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment, checking and topping off fluids, monitoring tire condition and air pressure, and replacing filters as directed.

· Assist with basic service work, including engine oil and filter changes, under supervision and according to company procedures.

Grounds Maintenance

· Mow grass, trim weeds, edge sidewalks, and maintain landscaping.

· Remove trash, debris, and litter from dealership and property locations.

· Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including leaf removal and snow/ice management (if applicable).

· Maintain parking lots, fences, buildings, and outdoor areas in a clean and professional condition.

General Labor Duties

· Load, unload, and move equipment, materials, and supplies as directed.

· Assist with facility maintenance projects and minor repairs.

· Operate basic hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and pressure washers safely.

· Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED preferred.

· Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, farm work, construction, equipment washing, or general labor is a plus.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Valid driver's license preferred.

· Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized properties.

· Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and service tasks preferred.

Schedule

· Monday – Friday

· 8 am to 5pm

· Occasional overtime as needed
