Monday - Friday Dayshift

$18-25/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment which includes: washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading equipment which includes: proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.
• Assisting customers and helping with all departments of the store.
• Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay, trash disposal, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Preparing customer, rental, and sales machines by cleaning interior and exterior of all equipment.
• Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE.
• Additional duties as assigned involving all branch departments, including but not limited to: sales, service, and parts.

Qualifications

• Positive outlook and excellent communication
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year general labor experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license in good standing is preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Ability to use technology and apps as a function of the role is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise.
