Lead Technician

Bobcat of Helena is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee our equipment maintenance pipeline and manage internal service department logistics. In this role, you will be the core technical authority responsible for high-level diagnostic workflows and overall shop efficiency. If you are an expert technician with a sharp technical background, an even temperament, and strong computer skills, we want you to run our internal service operations in Helena, MT.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance: Take on complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and major repair jobs for small, medium, and heavy equipment.
• Internal Operations Management: Direct shop workflows, coordinate maintenance tasks, and oversee the execution of all equipment servicing and repairs.
• System Diagnostics & Planning: Utilize data and service software to evaluate equipment needs, plan preventative maintenance cycles, and streamline shop efficiency.
• Logistics & Administration: Use computer systems to track repair metrics, manage parts inventory, draft work orders, and document machinery histories.

Position Requirements

• Technical Experience: Proven mastery in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing small, medium, or heavy industrial or agricultural equipment.
• Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency in specialized management software, tracking metrics, and processing digital maintenance documentation.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to monitoring repair timelines, parts inventory, and strict safety compliance.
• Even Temperament: Calm, level-headed working style suited for a fast-paced, high-energy operations environment.
