What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compact Equipment Rental Shop Technician position at Bobcat of Austin?
The Rental Service Technician is responsible for high quality and effective maintenance and repair of Bobcat compact construction and grounds maintenance equipment. This role requires a high degree of problem solving and a can-do attitude.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspects, maintains and repairs equipment
- Identifies needed parts for repairs
- Maintains detailed records for time, parts and supplies
- Interacts with customers and co-workers on a daily basis
- Maintains a clean and tidy workspace
- Follows all safety guidelines and company procedures
Desired Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification
- Mechanical background or schooling in diesel mechanics.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience repairing construction or similar equipment
- Must have experience with hydraulic , electrical, electronics and pneumatical systems
- Must own personal tools
