What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Sales Specialist position at Bobcat Enterprises, Inc.?

Specific Duties:
- Generate leads by visiting prospective and established customers and making sales presentations, i.e. cold calling, telemarketing and canvassing.
- Deliver and demo equipment for customers (i.e., show equipment, run the equipment and familiarize customers with the equipment for a potential sale.)
- Selling Planned Maintenance.
- Prepare quotations.
- Monitor activities of competitors and report relevant information.
- Timely completion and submission of routine sales paperwork.
- Perform duties at the inside sales desk during assigned times, including greeting and providing product information to customers, answering incoming calls, prepare mailings, etc.
- Forecast future sales.
- Cross-sell products and services.
- Other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years sales experience with proven ability to sell
Skills
- Knowledge of and ability to operate equipment
- Strong customer relations and communications skills
- Excellent problem solving, organization and record keeping abilities
- Proven track record accurately completing paperwork
- Proactive attitude toward personal development and teamwork
- Highly self-motivated to reach goals and develop new business
- Computer literate & familiar with Microsoft Office
Other Requirements:
- 30-35 hours per week driving to customers’ offices and job sites.
- Delivering and operating industrial equipment in a safe manner.
- Participating in retail events and trade shows when necessary.
- Work evenings and weekends when necessary.
