An established and growing authorized Bobcat dealer is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and partner closely with business leadership across a dynamic, field-based workforce.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own the full employee lifecycle—from hiring through offboarding—while ensuring compliance in a regulated, safety-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting frontline teams, and driving HR processes that enable the business to operate efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with background checks, DOT requirements, payroll setup, and documentation
- Manage payroll administration, including timekeeping review, PTO tracking, commissions, and garnishments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local employment laws, including OSHA, DOT, and workers’ compensation requirements
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee education
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation to support compliance and operational needs
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and IT to support workforce needs (equipment, access, onboarding logistics)
- Support compensation planning, incentive programs, and workforce compliance initiatives
- Contribute to a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace environment
- Occasional travel and extended hours will be required based on business needs
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a senior HR Generalist or HR Manager capacity
- Experience in a dealership, manufacturing, construction, or similar operational environment preferred
- Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong background in payroll, benefits administration, employee relations and California employment law.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 DOE comprehensive benefits
