Bobby Schrimsher & Sons General Contractors is looking for a dependable, construction-minded Jobsite Materials Coordinator to support our residential repair, remodeling, renovation, and insurance restoration projects.
This is NOT just a delivery job. We need someone who understands construction materials, can measure and calculate quantities, and knows what a crew needs to keep a job moving.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and supplies to jobsites.
- Identify common residential construction materials and verify orders.
- Take measurements and calculate basic material quantities.
- Assist with material takeoffs and planning.
- Monitor jobsite materials and communicate shortages or upcoming needs.
- Load, secure, transport, unload, and stage materials.
- Handle returns and maintain receipts.
- Communicate with suppliers, project managers, and field crews.
- Provide general jobsite support as needed.
What You Bring
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Residential construction experience required.
- Knowledge of common building materials and construction methods.
- Ability to measure accurately and perform basic construction math.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Professional attitude and good communication skills.
Carpentry, remodeling, renovation, insurance restoration, or material takeoff experience is a plus.
