Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. We are willing to train on site as well as an entry level technician. As a Tire and Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring that all services are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services on vehicles.
- Conduct tire (small to XL in size) services, including rotations, tire repairs, tube installations, tire dismounts, mounts and balancing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete various automotive repairs and diagnostics.
- Communicate accurate records of services performed and customer interactions.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or services.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed during vehicle maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred, but will train on site.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance is a benefiting factor.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques is a benefiting factor.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for vehicle service tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Sales experience is a plus, as you may assist customers in selecting additional services.
