Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using advanced techniques and tools.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair or fabricate sheet metal components with precision.
- Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment and ensure flawless finishes that match original colors and textures.
- Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with attention to detail.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to shape, cut, and assemble vehicle parts efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify damage extent, perform auto estimating, and communicate repair plans clearly to customers.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, sanding, and painting activities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership auto body repair or similar automotive repair environments.
- Strong MIG welding skills along with proficiency in fabrication and sheet metal work.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto painting, auto glass installation, and general automotive repair.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and detailing equipment.
- Experience with auto restoration projects and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of auto body repair standards, auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying, and auto estimating procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
