Meadia Heights Golf Club is located two miles south from the city center of historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is managed by Bobby Jones Links. The club offers a challenging private 18-hole championship course layout, draped over rolling hills bordering the area’s world-famous farmland.
Meadia Heights is hiring for Camp Counselors. The Summer Camp Counselor ensures the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of campers by leading recreational activities, mentoring youth, and supervising group dynamics. They plan daily schedules, enforce safety guidelines, facilitate games, and act as positive role models.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Supervision: Maintain constant awareness of campers to ensure physical and emotional safety, adhering to all emergency procedures.
- Activity Leadership: Plan, lead, and participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, sports, and team-building exercises.
- Mentorship: Build positive relationships, encouraging camper growth, skill achievement, and inclusivity among diverse groups.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with co-counselors and supervisors to maintain a clean and functioning camp environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with children (e.g., childcare, tutoring, or coaching).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Patience, creativity, adaptability, and high energy.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Physical stamina
