What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance- Delray Beach Golf Club position at Bobby Jones Links?
Established in 2000 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company serving private, resort, daily fee, and public courses. At the heart of our work is a commitment to serving people and creating exceptional experiences for members, guests, and employees. We live by our core values: Make People Happy, Do What You Say, Strive for Excellence, Be Driven, and Grow Every Day. These principles shape our culture and drive our success. As Bobby Jones said, “The secret of golf is to turn three shots into two.” That same pursuit of excellence defines everything we do.
Delray Beach Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is a historic public golf destination in South Florida, originally opened in 1926 and designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, with later contributions from Dick Wilson. The par-72 championship layout has long been recognized as one of Florida’s premier municipal golf experiences, hosting nearly 60,000 rounds annually while offering practice facilities, tournaments, dining, and event space.
The club is currently undergoing a major $32 million restoration and modernization project led by golf architect John Sanford. The renovation is focused on restoring many of the original Donald Ross design characteristics — including strategic bunkering, raised greens, and walkable routing — while upgrading infrastructure, practice facilities, and the clubhouse experience for a new generation of golfers.
