Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control and food management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and handling.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
- Assist with training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
