Overview
We are seeking a delightful team member who brings positive energy, enthusiasm, and a friendly attitude in creating a welcoming fun, interactive café environment.
As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and prepping while being passionate for providing exceptional customer service and hospitality!
Your role will involve not only preparing special tea & coffee drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience every time they visit.

Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, addressing any inquiries or concerns with an emphasis on creating a welcoming, memorable guest experience where every customer feels valued, appreciated, and excited to return.
- Accurately read prep sheets and follow instructions to ensure consistency and quality in a variety of beverages.
- Operate the Point-of-sale system for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including drink preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Engage in sales techniques to promote menu items and enhance customer experience.
Requirements

- Knowledge of basic math skills and retail math concepts related to sales transactions and cash handling.
- Previous barista or any food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience using Point of Sale systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation and food safety practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- No prior certification required; the company provides and pays for all necessary Food Handler training during your onboarding.
***As part of the interview process, selected candidates will participate in a one-hour in-shop observation/shadowing period to experience the work environment firsthand, learn more about the role, and determine if the position is a good fit for them.
