As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while being passionate for providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only preparing special tea & coffee drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience every time they visit.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Accurately read prep sheets and follow instructions to ensure consistency and quality in a variety of beverages.
- Operate the Point-of-sale system for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including drink preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Engage in sales techniques to promote menu items and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- A passion for serving and providing hospitality to our customers is essential for success.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working as part of a team as well as being self-motivated when necessary and engaging with customers.
- Previous barista or any food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation, food safety practices, and basic math skills for cash handling.
- Experience using Point of Sale systems.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts related to sales transactions is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
