Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their experience.
- Prepare food and drink items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate POS systems
- Take customer orders
- Handle cashier responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is tidy at all times.
- Initiative on support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.
- Engage with customers positively to foster loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
Requirements
- Age 18 and older
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, or reaching comfortably.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to assisting colleagues and supporting restaurant operations.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
