New Vehicle Contract Clerk / DMV Clerk
Location: La Mesa, CAPay Range: $25 – $30 per hour (Depending on Experience)
About Us: As a fast-paced, customer-focused Chevrolet dealership committed to providing an exceptional buying experience. We are currently seeking an experienced New Vehicle Contract Clerk / DMV Clerk to join our team.
Position Overview: The New Vehicle Contract Clerk / DMV Clerk is responsible for processing all new vehicle contracts, DMV paperwork, and manufacturer rebates accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has prior dealership New Vehicle Contract Clerk / DMV Clerk experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit new vehicle contracts to lenders and manufacturers
- Verify accuracy and completeness of all sales and lease paperwork
- Process DMV transactions, including registration, title transfers, and license plates
- Process and maintain manufacturer rebates and incentive programs
- Maintain communication with the sales and finance departments to ensure timely completion of all deals
- Reconcile funding and ensure proper posting of deals to accounting
- Stay current on DMV regulations and compliance requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous dealership experience required (contract and DMV experience preferred)
- Chevrolet dealership experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Tekion, or similar dealership management systems (preferred)
