Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technican to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within residential and light commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires working independently, handling various electrical tasks, and delivering excellent customer service in residential settings.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain lighting and electrical systems in residential settings.
- Panel changes.
- Setup lighting systems, wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Use tools and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues, ensuring systems work correctly.
- Provide clear explanations of electrical issues and solutions, and offer recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local or state regulations.
- Complete work orders, reports, and necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers.
- Collaborate with ownership and HVAC division leaders to cross-sell and integrate services.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in a residential setting.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes
- Familiarity with using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostics tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to adapt to change and follow company SOPs
Requirements:
- OSHA 10 certification (required)
- Experience and working knowledge of the NEC codes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must own hand tools and gauges required to perform the duties of the job
- Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)

Compensation:
Hourly $25-$35
Commission: all electrical repairs and sales
