Job Summary
Main duties include: Move material to/from production area.
Stacking material to assigned places. Load/unload trucks. Locate and move stacks of pallets for storage or shipment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment before use to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and move pallets using pallet jacks.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and maintaining a clean workspace
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving is preferred.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multitask to be able to meet multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
