Manual Tool and Cutter Grinding Technician

Join a team where precision and deadlines go hand-in-hand. You’ll restore and optimize cutting geometry on a range of tools using manual grinding equipment, ensuring customers receive sharp, reliable tooling on time.

• Regrind and sharpen: Drill bits, end mills, and straight/round blades using manual cutter grinder machines.
• Quality checks: Meticulous inspection of tools both pre- and post-grind to verify correct geometry and readiness for production.
• Turnaround: Complete work within designated time frames to meet delivery route schedules back to customer sites.
• Safety-first: Work prudently around sparks, sharp edges, hot parts, and elevated noise.
• Team alignment: Adhere to company safety policies and procedures; follow written and verbal instructions; perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

• Self-driven, deadline-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
• Preferred background: Machine shop or cutter grinding experience.

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Blueprint Reading

• Sit, stand, and stoop as tasks require.
• Lift and carry boxes up to 75 lbs; push carts up to 250 pounds.
• Comfort operating in loud areas and around hot/sharp tooling and sparks.
