Bob's Barricades, Inc., the largest company of it's kind in Florida with 51 years in business (We have never cut back & laid any employees off work!) is seeking a Industrial Maintenance entry level mechanic for our Hallandale , FL, 33009 Location. Must speak English. Must have clean background record. Hours are from 7:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. We will pay more than your 2025 W-2 proves (Pre- Interview) Good Health Insurance Benefits and yearly increases.
They will be part of our repair Team ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment / machinery /rolling equipment . This position requires a blend of technical skills/basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Responsibilities including monitoring equipment performance , troubleshooting issues and follow instructions/Training available.
Duties
- Monitor and control the operation of Traffic Signal and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- troubleshoot and maintain low voltage systems.
- Use testing tools such as voltmeters to assess electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in equipment repair /warehouse work / maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
