Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kahului, HI, for a Front Desk Customer Service Agent. The ideal candidate will welcome customers, assist them with inquiries, handle scheduling, and maintain accurate records of repair services. Additional responsibilities include responding to customer concerns, providing updates, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with internal teams for service efficiency. The Front Desk Customer Service Agent will be the first point of contact for our customers, fostering a positive and welcoming experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Check vehicles in and out of the shop, ensuring accurate documentation and status updates
- Maintain the front desk and lobby area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Utilize shop management and computer software to monitor job progress, schedules, and customer records
- Coordinate with technicians and management regarding repair status and timelines
- Answer customer questions regarding estimates, repair timelines, and next steps (training provided)
- Schedule appointments and assist with basic administrative tasks
- Ensure the shop’s front office operates smoothly and efficiently throughout the day
- Support overall shop operations as needed to maintain a high standard of service
Qualifications & Skills
- Customer service experience preferred (automotive or service-based industries a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn shop management software
