The Show

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Show Technicians will execute all manner of cross-discipline show tracks including but not limited to Acrobatic rigging, Audio, Lighting, Props, Show Control, and Video. Cues involve the movement, connection and disconnection, placement, inspection, repair, and operation of microphones, lighting equipment, projectors, hand properties, safety harnesses on performers (some of which may be in various stages of undress) and verifying the safe operation of said microphones, harnesses, rigging connections etc., via two-way radio communication with the Stage Managers and appropriate system engineers. Technicians may be trained on multiple cue tracks required for the operating of monitors, lighting, and show control as required for the show’s running, and to cover technician absence or time off. Technicians will be required to take directions from the Technical Director as well as the Lead technician of the designated system. Shifts will be flexible and are to be determined.
Required: Basic operational knowledge of professional audio, video, intercom systems, lighting show control, properties construction and their installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Good people skills and familiarity with the theatrical backstage environment.
Preferred: Knowledge of computer protocols and interconnects, AC systems, RF systems, CAD experience, rigging, prop construction and repair. Shift is primarily swing.
Proof of OSHA Certification or take a 10-hour course.
Education/Experience
BA in Theatre with at least 5 years working experience in theatrical/live event environments or equivalent experience.

- This position could be exposed to loud noises, and frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above average visual acuity and hearing.
- Most of this job will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
Compensation/Additional Information
Expected weekly rate: $1,650.00. TTP Entertainment also offers excellent medical, dental and vision insurance, plus additional paid time off.

This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and operates in a full-time in-person capacity. This individual is expected to work primarily onsite at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
