What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Custodial Assistant (Student) position at Bob Jones University?
POSITION SUMMARY: Working as a team to prepare areas for summer camps and the following school year. Responsible for sanitizing and cleaning of assigned areas. This position is 40 hours; Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm (amount and timing of hours are flexible if arranged with the Custodial Supervisor).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works on crews doing general cleaning, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing of floors, or white-gloving
- Must take ownership and responsibility for your assigned areas
- Reports to a supervising GA or staff member
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to remain flexible and take initiative
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to communicate well within the crews, to those supervising, and to the Custodial Supervisor
- Attention to detail
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Academy
- This job involves standing, stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, and pushing, and repetitive motions
