Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Flat Rate Metal Technician to join our collision team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collision repair, particularly with frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repair work. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and non-structural repairs on damaged vehicles to OEM standards
- Replace or repair damaged panels, frame components, and other metal body parts
- Operate frame machines, welding equipment, and hand/power tools
- Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure seamless repair flow
- Adhere to safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and hours billed

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a metal technician in a collision repair setting
- I-CAR or ASE certifications a plus (but not required)
- Proficient in frame straightening and unibody repairs
- Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and OEM repair procedures
- Own tools required; specialty equipment provided
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
