Responsibilities:
Statement of Purpose
This position is responsible for transporting product between the Bob Evans Transportation location in Springfield and the third part warehouse partner in Fairborn.
Accountabilities
- Deliver trailers of product to Fairborn and customer loads to Springfield
- Shuttles empty trailers for cleaning as needed
- Manage yard in Springfield and Fairborn as needed
- Assist with fueling trailers
- Verify and check all temperatures of the reefer units on the trailers
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Check the trailer loads are secure and balanced per the company guidelines for safety and efficiency.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must possess a class “A” CDL Driver’s License
