A background in industrial sales is preferred (steel, hardware, tools, pipe/pipe fittings, power transmission, or other.) General Accountabilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and process customer orders
- Order and source products
- Interact with customers and purchasing team to obtain and fill orders correctly
- Proactively generate sales and promote Company products
- Projects a warm, inviting and trustworthy image on the phone
- Answers customer inquiries
- Research new product requests and write orders
- Assist with pulling inventory
- Assist with customer returns
- Troubleshoot customer concerns

Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience (preferably in power transmission, industrial supplies, or industrial distribution); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer literacy: able to navigate basic computer programs and learn to use inventory management system
