Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hardworking General Handyman to perform maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep for a small chain of grocery stores.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, and property repairs. Some hands-on experience with HVAC and commercial refrigeration troubleshooting and repairs is also required.
Responsibilities include maintaining store buildings, equipment, fixtures, and surrounding properties, as well as assisting with general repairs, improvement projects, and preventative maintenance.
Candidates must be mechanically inclined, able to troubleshoot problems, work independently, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred.
- Some experience with HVAC and commercial refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- General knowledge of building repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel between multiple grocery store locations.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position.
- Pay negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Some weekend or after-hours work may be required.
