What You'll Do
- Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle and customer information to open the visit
- Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms clearly and accurately on the repair order
- Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history
- Prepare complete, accurate estimates for labor and parts
- Establish follow-up times and keep customers informed of vehicle status throughout the visit
- Confirm that final invoices match completed repair order work before delivery
- Explain all services performed and associated charges to customers at pickup
- Coordinate loaner vehicle setup and verify insurance when applicable
What We're Looking For
- 1 year of service department experience required; Quick Lane or express service background is a plus
- Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant preferred
- Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to assess issues quickly
- Proven track record of customer satisfaction
- Solid computer skills and willingness to learn new software and repair procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
