Job Summary
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Job Title: Secondary Math Teacher(s) - Anticipated
Opening Date: March 13, 2026
Closing Date: Until filled
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary: Based on BCSS Salary Schedule
Expected Workday: As defined by the Principal
Terms of Employment: 9 - Month Contract
Reports To: Principal
Job Goals:
- Provide each student with optimum opportunities to learn, achieve, grow, and succeed to his/her fullest potential through high academic standards in a safe and controlled environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree
- Certification in the appropriate teaching areas
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Possible Coaching Duties
Performance Responsibilities:
- Must deliver the required curriculum in accordance with the standards expected of the Alabama Department of Education
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Principal
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boaz City Board of Education.
